ABFs

Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) appeal to people who prefer to learn in an environment where there is a long-term continuity of relationship with fellow-learners, regardless of the course of study. These fellowships are ongoing classes that meet on Sunday mornings. They provide a great avenue for acquiring Bible knowledge and becoming acquainted with fellow Village Church attenders. It is our hope that these serve as a springboard for deeper biblical community. Hopefully, ABFs can provide helpful learning while serving as a conduit toward community group involvement for those who desire. You can join an ABF any time by simply attending the class.

Life Together - Contact: Marc Bos

Life Together is a community of couples, seeking after the Lord and all he has for us. We are a group who believes in fellowship and experiencing life together. Sunday mornings we study various topics and passages from the Bible. We offer LifeGroups, occasional initiatives for women and men, and social activities. This group is a great place to connect with other couples/young families in the church...it’s a place where this big church becomes a little smaller.

Shepherd's Path - Contact: Paul Alleman

Shepherd's Path is an open class for adults. This class is taught by a variety of Bible scholars and professors from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School who currently attend Village Church of Gurnee. Shepherd's Path includes not only Bible teaching but also many fellowship opportunities including luncheons, Q&A sessions, in-home socials and road trips pertaining to our Biblical studies.

This fellowship is for single adults in all stages of life and those who desire to partner with singles in ministry. Our Sunday morning large group meeting is a good opportunity to either make your initial connection with this ministry or continue your growth through Biblical teaching. We welcome new participants!

New Directions - Contact: Dan Anderson

New Directions is a blend of demographics from singles to married, from those with young children to empty-nesters. There are two key elements that unite this diverse group. First, is our stimulating class time devoted to in-depth studies of the Scriptures. The second element that defines this group and delivers tremendous support and benefit are the relationships that are built both during class time and through outside events. Please join us and experience all this ABF has to offer.
