VCG’s LifeSteps vision focuses on our belief that every follower of Jesus should be:
GROWING as a child of God
CONNECTING with the family of God
CONTRIBUTING to the work of God
In 1 John 2:6, we are challenged to "walk as Jesus did." What an awesome privilege and responsibility we have to DAILY learn to pursue that calling as followers of Jesus Christ!
Here at Village Church of Gurnee, we believe that our church is not to be seen as a resting and refueling stop for churchgoers. Instead, we desire it to be a place where everyone is actively traveling in the direction of finding and fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives - both individually and corporately.
